What TestConnect does
TestConnect connects approved local air tightness and acoustic testing companies with testing jobs that are posted and managed through one central platform.
The aim is simple: smaller testing firms should be able to access local work without wasting the day driving across the country, while SAP assessors, consultants, developers and builders get reliable national coverage through a managed panel.
Only TestConnect admins post jobs. Contractors do not quote against each other. Jobs are offered at a set contractor fee, with clear instructions, controlled documents, report uploads and QA before completion.
Why this exists
Testing prices have been pushed down by a small number of large companies with national assessor coverage. Smaller firms often cannot compete because they carry the travel cost, downtime, equipment, calibration and admin burden on their own.
TestConnect is designed to give smaller firms better access to local jobs, while reducing wasted mileage and improving turnaround for work providers.

How it works
| Stage | What happens |

| 1. Apply | Testing company registers interest and tells us what services and postcodes they cover. |
| 2. Review | Documents, qualifications, insurance, calibration and example reports are checked. |
| 3. Teams call | We speak to the applicant before approval. This is the panel interview. |
| 4. Job offered | Admin posts an anonymised job. Approved contractors covering the postcode see the job and fixed pay. |
| 5. Accept | Contractor accepts an available window. Admin confirms assignment and releases full site details. |
| 6. Complete | Contractor attends site, uploads evidence and PDF reports. Admin completes QA and payment approval. |
For companies with testing work
TestConnect gives access to a managed panel of approved local testers. The client relationship, job information, documents and reporting are controlled through the platform. Contractors see only the information they need until assignment, so developer and client details remain protected.
